Petro Art Production was commissioned to provide rockwork for several areas at the new ‘Bon Luxury Park Vidanta World’ theme park in Mexico.

One of the biggest eye-catchers Petro is working on is the Icon Temple. This temple is 42 meters high and 50 meters wide, with a total area of 6.500m2 of rockwork. This double-sided temple stands out for its unique colors and size. The hub, which is in front of the temple, consists of 16 columns with one center fountain. This connects the Icon Temple to the Warrior’s Temple.

In addition, our team works at many other locations within the park. For example, we supplied rockwork for several waterfalls, and Petro designed and executed a Cave. The Cave connects the Crater and Main Street areas and is inspired by Mexican Cenotes.

Besides theming the park’s surroundings, we have also worked on theming various attractions. One of these is the Warrior Sky Ship attraction for which we themed the facades. All the dragons and ships visible on the facades have been hand-drawn and painted by our artists.

There is still work ongoing, and we are looking forward to seeing the result of this brand-new theme park in Mexico!
