Petro Art Production got the opportunity to work on park entrance of Drouwenerzand. The rockwork includes Danny the mascot, which is realized by Themics Philippines Inc.

Petro delivered a turn-key project, to begin with the design and 3D modelling of the rock works, which were created in collaboration with Drouwenerzand. After approval, our 3D team worked out the primary structures, statical calculations, secondary structures, and worked to the result of the 3D-design. Our primary structure then went into our primary Laser cutter machine, and the secondary structure (rebars) was bended by our bending machine and shipped out to the park. There our on-site team welded the primary and secondary and built it all up, shot the mesh on the secondary structure, and finally our carvers added two layers of concrete and carved the rock works, which are heavily inspired by the typical Drenthian dolmens. Finally, the paint layer that completes the rockwork.
