Petro Art Production was commissioned by Libéma to create the ‘Kopjes’ rocks as a natural barrier of the Meerkat exhibit.

It was important to show the Meerkats in an environment that looks and feels like their natural environment in Africa and that is why the ‘Kopjes’ rocks were chosen by Libéma.

The new exhibit is located at a bigger expansion of Zoo Parc Overloon, behind the African Wild Dog display and next to the new Wildlife Education Center. Both species are showing their natural behaviour in their new surroundings and although there is no physical contact points, there is a quite a lot of interaction between both species.
