Petro Art Production was the Theming Manufacturer for the development of the new ‘Mahuka’ coaster, a one-of-a-kind Intamin hot racer-type rollercoaster, and the surrounding area. The coaster has a thrilling story about an abandoned temple and escaping the enraged Fire God that resides within. Furthermore, the already-existing ‘Exotic Area’ was further developed by adding new thematic elements recreating a primitive Hawaiian fishing village.

The designs of the areas are inspired by Hawaiian imagery and culture, which can be seen in the stone tiki statues and carvings in the areas. Our team was commissioned to decorate both areas. We created the rockwork and shotcrete facades visible in both areas. Additionally, our team worked on items like bowls and boats that complement the Exotic area. A definite highlight of the Mahuka coaster is the temple and the engraved tiki face carved by our amazing artists.
